In this detailed and fascinating illustrated talk noted Silsbee research Christopher Payne digs deep into Silsbee early career in Syracuse and discusses his many projects and patrons in the “Salt City,” and also introduces us to many of the artisans and craftsman who carved the stone and fashioned the wood for Silsbee and other architects at the time, and who laid the foundation for the growing Arts and Crafts Movement in Central New York of the early 20th century.
