Ward (1875-1932) was a telented and prolific archutect who designed over 200 homes in upstate New York in 18 years. Born in Chicago and rasied in Detroit he studied archtiecture at M.I.T. and practiced in New York City before coming to Syracuse in 1908, where he made a vital contribution to Arts & Crafts architect in America.
