LISA HARRELL DELAMATER

Ph.D, Licensed Psychologist for New York State

Lisa Harrell Delamater, Ph.D. is a Licensed Psychologist for New York State at Hutchings Psychiatric Center. She has a degree in Public Administration from the Maxwell School, Syracuse University, and was a facilitator at the inception of Tomorrow’s Neighborhoods Today, an initiative to involve Syracuse residents in community development in the city. In addition to the board of the Arts and Crafts Society of Central New York (ACSCNY), Lisa serves on the Arts Board of the YMCA of CNY. Her interest in the Art and Crafts Movement developed when she served as docent for the Strathmore Neighborhood Home Tours which featured many Arts and Crafts homes designed by Ward Wellington Ward and others. She later attended Samuel Gruber, Ph.D.’s talk on Ward Wellington Ward. During his talk, Dr. Gruber envisioned making Syracuse an “Arts and Crafts destination for tourism.” Lisa joined the ACSCNY to participate in realizing this vision.
